Hosting that holds the room
Hiring an emcee is a trust fall. You hand a stranger your microphone, your timeline and the mood of the whole room. I take that seriously. We plan on a call before the day, I learn your run sheet and your people, then I keep things warm, funny and on time, in whatever language your guests speak.

He arranged a video call approximately 2 weeks prior, went through the program flow in detail... Knowing that our family speaks Hokkien, he impressed them by speaking some sentences in dialect, and he knows his ways to entertain the guests and make them laugh. All the guests praised his emcee skills.

Hosting taught me timing. Acting taught me truth. I have been lucky to work on titles a lot of Singaporeans grew up with, and I am always up for the next role.

About
The man with the mic
I am JonTee, Jonathan Tee King Yang. I started out as a civil engineer, hard hat on a worksite, and somewhere along the way the microphone found me.
Today I host weddings, countdowns and corporate stages across Singapore and the region, and I act in film and television. Different stages, same job: read the room, and give people a night they remember.
Off stage I am a man of faith and a new dad, which is its own kind of live show. If you are planning something that matters, I would love to be the one holding the mic.
